Fest to attract Waterfoodies

THE annual Waterford Harvest Festival returns next weekend, celebrating exceptional food and the passionate people behind it.

Running from next Friday to Sunday, the festival will shine a spotlight on the very best of local and Irish food producers, celebrating the region's rich food heritage with a strong focus on taste, entertainment, and sustainability.

This year it will see walking tours delving into the city's rich culinary history, a junior Masterchef competition, a Faulty Towers Dining Experience, a massive communal BBQ and plenty more.

But it isn't just food, the festival will also see a wealth of musical entertainment over the weekend, with sets from Mick Flannery, John Spillane, Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones, The 80s Generation and others.
