Family seek legal reform after father died of injuries from push by partner

They have called for the removal of character references and for evidence of prior abuse including Garda call logs, Tusla involvement, and witness accounts to be admissible even if no conviction exists.

Karen and her sister Lynn said: “The full scope of the prolonged abuse our father suffered was systematically left out of the case.

“He reported incidents to authorities, but the legal system didn't allow any of it to be heard.”
