MOSSVALE DIVA looks to hold strong form claims in this nursery after a couple of solid efforts in defeat at Beverley.

The daughter of Coulsty was drawn widest of all when a ¾-length second of 9 to Arduis Invicta there last time, and was also hassled for the lead before the winner caught her late.

I thought she battled well when headed by the winner, and this professional filly has an easier task in 0-65 company, while Shay Farmer's 7lb claim will be a big help.

I do not subscribe to the belief that apprentices’ claims are a ‘gimme in races like this, but a straightforward ride like Mossvale Diva is the ideal vehicle for claiming.

Farmer has a fine record in turf handicaps, and backing all his rides in such races would see punters €805 to the good to a €11.58 stake at SP.
