Draper sinks Paul but says: I'm no Rafa
JACK DRAPER laughed off comparisons with fellow left-hander Rafa Nadal after thrashing Tommy Paul at the Madrid Open yesterday.
The British No.1 needed 68 minutes to seal a 6-2 6-2 victory as he reached his first Masters quarter-final on clay.
"I mean, I haven't won 14 Roland Garros's just yet," smiled Draper. "Rafa (left) is obviously someone, being a lefty, that I looked up to when I was younger.
"I don't sort of compare myself to him, but I'd like to think that I want to have qualities like Rafa, whether that's attitude or his forehand with the shape.
