Dundon: I couldn't keep filming when we got the news... I said, 'I can't do this'

- BY MIKIE O'LOUGHLIN

CHEF KEVIN FAMILY'S CRASH ORDEAL

KEVIN Dundon has opened up about how he and wife Catherine faced the horror death of their young nephews and niece in a car crash in Denmark.

The celebrity chef also lost his first cousin and his son in South Africa.

Kevin said of the 2013 Denmark tragedy: "It was a really tough day when we got that phone call. Going through that whole process was horrendous.

"I was filming at the time and I'm the type of person that will work through it when I get bad news. There's no right or wrong way to deal with grief.

"I said to the crew that we would film again the following day. The news was all over the papers the following day and I said, 'I can't do this'.

"It takes me a while to let the news sink in. It's happened twice to us.
