APPEAL FOR FUNDS TO HELP THE FAMILY OF TRAGIC MIDWIFE GRACE

A COMMUNITY has come together to honour a dedicated midwife and loving mother, whose body was found earlier this week, by launching a fundraiser to support funeral costs and her family.

The body of Grace Aseidua Benyin, a mother of four, was discovered by a person out walking in the countryside near the Holy Year Cross, around 4km south of Clonmel on Monday, December 22.

A postmortem was carried out at University Hospital Waterford.

Gardai say the 36-year-old native of Ghana was not a victim of foul play. The death is being treated as a “personal tragedy”.
