ANGE'S READY FOR FINAL FLING

IF Bilbao proves to be Ange Postecoglou's last stand, he is going out with all guns blazing.

The Europa League final against Manchester United will be Postecoglou's 100th game in charge of Tottenham Hotspur and, regardless of the result, the chances of him still being in charge of the club after his 101st match - the final fixture of the Premier League season against Brighton on Sunday - appear to be extremely slim.

In fact, during a predictably spiky media conference, he made a reference to having "been in this position before where the big game is the last game I managed." He added: "It's not unusual territory for me and I've always navigated that pretty well."

And while he was quick to clarify that he still sees himself as having a long-term challenge at Spurs - the club are sitting 17th in the table and have lost 21 League matches this season - Postecoglou came across as a man who knows there is a more than a good chance he has only two more games at the helm. If he does know that, it has given him an even stronger dose of familiar defiance.
