Ukip demo is banned over unrest fear in Muslim area

POLICE have banned a Ukip demonstration from taking place in an area with a big Muslim population due to a realistic prospect of serious disorder.

The rally in Whitechapel, East London, was due to take place on Saturday as part of a series of events promoted as amass deportations tour, the Met said. Organisers called on attendees to “reclaim Whitechapel from the Islamists’, the force said.
