THE Taoiseach has thanked Donald Trump for his efforts to end the conflict in Gaza.

The US President has published a 20-point peace deal, which has been accepted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Hamas has been given “three or four days to respond” by President Trump, who said if they reject it he would “let Israel go and do what they have to do”.
In a statement released yesterday, the Taoiseach Micheal Martin said anyone who wishes peace for Israel, Gaza and the wider Middle East “must welcome the peace proposal announced”.
