JUST days old, Ella sleeps unaware of her brush with death.

Tot's miracle amid tragedy

Ella Osama Abu Dagga, born 26 days ago, survived an Israeli airstrike on Wednesday night that lasted into the early hours of yesterday.

But her parents and brother were all killed in the assault on Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip.

Israeli attacks resumed on Tuesday, ending a ceasefire, and Ella's grandmother Fatima Abu Dagga said through tears: “We weren't really living in a truce.

“We knew that at any moment the war might return. We never felt that there was stability, not at all.”
