THOUSANDS of American Football fans fans were left disappointed yesterday after failing to secure tickets for the first regular season NFL game that will be played in Dublin in September.

Some 600,000-plus fans were in the virtual queue for the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Minnesota Vikings at Croke Park on September 28.
