TV documentary shows Gordon Ramsay's family life with wife Tana, kids and new son-in-law Adam Peaty
Helicopter scene in Netflix documentary With daughter Tilly Young Gordon At home with one of his sons
After the family fallouts that marred the lead-up to his wedding, viewers will get the chance to see how Adam Peaty settles in with his new in-laws in Gordon Ramsay's Netflix documentary.
Being Gordon Ramsay covers daughter Holly's nuptials to Olympic swimming champ Adam, as well as investigating the drive that propelled the chef from a tough childhood into a glittering career in the world's swankiest restaurants.
Adam's parents Caroline and Mark previously had a close relationship with him, but it deteriorated over the past year and they did not attend the wedding on December 27.
But it's clear Adam is very close to his new father-in-law.
He says in the show: "I knew I wanted to marry Hol and I knew that because, without getting emotional, Holly brings me a peace that I've never had in all aspects of my life.
"I've seen how her family works. And I think when you're marrying someone, I believe you're also marrying into the family. Gordon is very fair, very respectful, but also loves a good joke."
Gordon speaks very highly of Adam, too, saying: "He's a gent, he's an absolute thoroughbred." There is no mention of Adam's own family in the series, though they do briefly feature in footage of the engagement party.
Caroline is seen for four seconds when she hugs Holly, and is also in the background as speeches are given.
As cameras follow him both at home and on business trips around the world, Gordon, 59, opens up about his marriage to Tana, revealing she was dating one of his friends when they first met.
