SMYTH LEAPS AT CHANCE TO ROCK ROBINS
Irish Daily Mirror
|October 06, 2025
MATCH-winner Paul Smyth insists being the smallest man on the pitch was never going to stop him rising head and shoulders above the rest.
The 5ft 9in Northern Ireland forward came off the bench to seal a dramatic comeback as QPR made it half a dozen games unbeaten to climb into the top six.
Richard Kone levelled before Smyth found the net at Ashton Gate for the second season running with a late header from a Jimmy Dunne cross.
The 28-year-old (above) said: “It seems I like scoring here. I scored the last time I was here, so it's great to get the winner. I wish I could play here every week.
