McGregor 'fight' puts Miami Heat team mascot in hospital
CONOR McGregor sent the Miami Heat mascot to hospital after punching him twice as part of a staged “fight” to promote his new pain relief spray.
McGregor was in Miami to see the Heat take on the Denver Nuggets in the NBA Finals, and had been promoting his latest product.
The showdown started with Burnie approaching, wearing boxing gloves, before the 34-year-old fighter punched the mascot then hit him again when he was down – a common attack in mixed martial arts.
