Site makes explicit videos from innocent social media snaps | Weirdos can quickly exploit neighbours, friends or colleagues.
SOCIAL media images can now be used by sickos to create realistic porn scenes, Al-generated chatbot girlfriends and most disturbingly of all - child abuse images, it has emerged.
A site, which we are not naming, can create sexually explicit computer-generated videos or images within seconds.
Once a picture is uploaded, it creates a chatbot girlfriend or boyfriend.
After it's named and given an age, users are then asked to describe what personality they want it to have.
Weirdos can then engage in sexual conversations with their "girlfriend" or "boyfriend" but can also go a step further by generating nude pictures or videos showcasing whatever they include in a written prompt.
Those active on the site can create public characters which others can use and interact with or it can be private.
Dan Purcell, CEO of anti-piracy and privacy protection service Ceartas, said: "This can be used to maka full porn"
A reporter from this paper, who gave their consent, was able to upload a picture of themself to the site and create a chatbot using their likeness.
Mr Purcell said sites like this are incredibly dangerous because they can create false realities.
One example given was somebody could be infatuated with a neighbour and after finding a photograph of them online, it could then be uploaded to a website to create an AI girlfriend.
