COLIN Farrell posed with his rarely-seen son Henry on the red carpet of the Emmys as the Dubliner missed out on an award.

And fellow actors Ruth Negga and Sharon Horgan were also snubbed for an Emmy award in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

Colin was nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category for his role in The Penguin.

The award went to Stephen Graham for his lead role in the hit Netflix series Adolescence.

But Colin turned heads on the red carpet when he arrived with his son Henry, with the pair dressing in tuxedos for the night.
