Mart jokes he's concealing Nancy paperwork
MARTIN O'NEILL joked he's hidden Wilfried Nancy's Parkhead paperwork after firing Celtic back to within striking distance of the top of the SPFL.
The Hoops legend made it six wins out of seven — and five out of five domestically - with yesterday's battling 2-1 victory at Hibs.
First-half goals from Daizen Maeda and Arne Engels, scored within 33 seconds, set Celtic on their way at Easter Road.
Martin Boyle reduced the deficit from a 56th-minute penalty, given following a VAR review for handball, but O'Neill's side closed out another impressive win.
The 73-year-old revealed he was gearing up to take his farewell bow at Easter Road - only to be told on the eve of the clash he will now be needed for Wednesday's clash with Dundee.
Nancy's (inset) deal has been caught up in red tape but Celtic are confident they will have their new man in the dugout before the top-of-the-table showdown with Hearts on Sunday.
