JACK CROWLEY was a man on a mission in the summer - and it is paying off in how he has hit the ground running this season.

MUNSTER STAR IS LOOKING JACKED

Crowley had a difficult time last term as he lost the Ireland No.10 jersey to Sam Prendergast, then missed out on Lions selection.

Perhaps the penny dropped that something had to change.

But if he was out of Andy Farrell's (inset) good books then, the 25-year-old must be returning to them now ahead of the November internationals.

That's on the back of the off season work he has done followed by his start to the new URC campaign.

The word is that, having returned from Ireland's summer Tests in Georgia and Portugal, he spent his time off in the gym toiling before throwing himself into Munster's old school training regime under Clayton McMillan.

Crowley was superb off the bench at the Scarlets, then ran the show for the province in their battling narrow victory over Cardiff.
