Vardy on Wagatha fallout

- BY MARK JEFFERIES Showbiz Editor

I'm treated worse than a murderer

REBEKAH Vardy has spoken about the bruising ordeal of the Wagatha Christie court case.

The wife of footballer Jamie Vardy insists she is now moving on from her multi-million-pound legal clash with Coleen Rooney, 39.

But speaking to Vanity Fair she said her treatment had been unfair, adding: "Murderers and paedophiles have faced far less scrutiny than I did."

Coleen, wife of England legend Wayne, was convinced Rebekah, 43, was behind leaks of information from her private Instagram account to the press.

To find the culprit she restricted her account so only Rebekah had access and placed fake stories which found their way into newspapers.

After her famous detective work, Coleen sparked headlines around the world by writing: "It's... Rebekah Vardy's account."
