For Barry Hearn and his son Eddie, sport is more than a business - it's a family dynasty in the making.

At 77, Barry is searching for the right heir to take control of Matchroom, the billion-pound sporting promotions empire he built from scratch. That transition is now the focus of Netflix's new docuseries, Matchroom: The Greatest Showmen, which gives unprecedented access to the Hearns' world. "It is a bit of Succession," Barry says. "The old man who started off has to come to terms with the fact that the world's not the same any more. You have to pass on the mantle."

In the series, Barry's 46-year-old son Eddie finds himself fighting to prove he can carry on the Hearn legacy. But as Barry admits, being his son comes with unique pressure.
