Probe into bloody incident outside hotel
A BRUTAL stabbing outside a popular Dublin hotel saw gardai seal off six separate areas of the city early yesterday morning.
Investigators combing for evidence sealed off areas around O'Connell Street, O'Connell Bridge, Westmoreland Street and the College Green area following the horrific attack, which took place outside the College Green Hotel at around 6:30am.
A man in his 40s was rushed to hospital with what are understood to be stab injuries. His condition is understood to be serious.
Gardai were later seen sealing off multiple parts of the city in an effort to find any forensic evidence following the incident.
Bloodied clothes were seen lying on the road by the hotel, where much of the incident is understood to have taken place.
