It can only be the latest book by this comedian turned prizewinning novelist. Salesman Matt loses his job, and girlfriend Harriet, then gets the chance to live rent-free in Satsuma Heights, if he spies on other residents. He hopes it will help win back Harriet - but she's vanished. The plot thickens when Matt realises with horror what might have happened to the love of his life. Following previous novels, The Satsuma Complex and The Hotel Avocado, this is a delight to read. 9/10
