Yellow & Orange alerts for many as rain moves in
MET Eireann has issued a raft of orange and yellow status weather warnings.
Dublin, Wicklow and Wexford have been placed under an orange rain warning as Met Eireann said "significant flooding" was a possibility.
The alert will come into effect from 2pm on Friday until 11am on Saturday as Met Eireann declared the deluge will cause "hazardous travelling conditions".
The same three counties are also under a yellow wind warning. This alert is valid from 12pm on Friday through to 4am on Saturday.
