Storm brings strong gusts & flood risks

STORM Chandra is scheduled to collide with Ireland today as Met Eireanna placed several countries under a status yellow wind warning.

Dublin is under the alert alongside Cork, Kerry, Waterford, Louth, Wexford, and Wicklow. It kicks in at 5am today and lasts until 11pm.

Met Eireann said: "Winds associated with Storm Chandra will be very strong and gusty particularly about the coasts and along exposed areas." Forecasters warned of possible impacts including fallen trees and loose debris, waves and hazardous travel condition.
