THE brother of murdered Jennifer Poole will tell TDs and Senators today that a domestic abuse register must not allow offenders to be removed from it after three years.

- BY CIARA O'LOUGHLIN

In 2021, the mum-of-two was stabbed to death in her Dublin home by her former partner Gavin Murphy when she was just 24.

Evil Murphy is serving a life sentence for her murder. She was unaware he had a history of abusive behaviour, including a conviction for assaulting a former partner.

Jason has campaigned to bring in Jennie's Law, a register that would name and shame domestic abusers in this country.

The Criminal Law (Sexual Offences, Domestic Violence and International Instruments) Bill 2025 commonly referred to as Jennie's Law will be examined by the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Justice.
