Biker, 57, dies in road crash

TRIBUTES have been paid to a motorcyclist who tragically lost his life following a collision on Sunday.

Gardai and emergency services were called to the scene of the single-vehicle collision on the R519 Callahow in Dromcollogher, Limerick.

Sadly, John Sheehan, 57, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Local media reports that John was volunteering as a marshal at a charity event run by the Rockhill-Bruree Defibrillator Association in memory of Declan 'Doc' Doherty.
