Artist's beer mats tell the fascinating tale of peatlands

RESEARCHERS have launched a specially commissioned series of beer mats about Ireland's peatlands in pubs across Dublin and Cork.

The development of the items, which feature detailed artwork and facts focusing on the biodiversity and cultural history preserved in the country's bogs, was led by teams at University College Dublin and University College Cork in collaboration with artist Eleanor Brayden.
