ANTRIM APPEAL EXPECTED

ANTRIM are expected to launch an appeal against the decision to fix their Ulster SFC clash with Armagh at Newry’s Pairc Esler.
The Saffrons are adamant that, as they were drawn out first, they should be entitled to host the game at Corrigan Park.
They nominated the West Belfast venue to host the meeting with the All-Ireland champions on Saturday, April 12. However, the Ulster Council's Competition Control Committee met last week and awarded the tie to Pairc Esler.
Antrim footballers have maintained that they will not play the game if it is not in Corrigan Park.
