Woman found dead in central Noida; man she was in relationship with arrested

Two days after a 37-year-old woman was found murdered in her house in central Noida, the police said on Saturday that she was allegedly killed by the man she was in a relationship with.
The accused was arrested after he was injured in a shootout with the police. Shabnam, who hailed from Luharli village in Gautam Buddh Nagar's Dadri, was found dead at her house, with her throat slit, in Haibatpur village in central Noida. Following a complaint from her son, the police registered an FIR under Section 103(1) (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Ecotech-3 police station.
