The Faridabad police said a First Information Report (FIR) was registered in the evening last Friday at the Sector 17 Police Station against Deepali Jain for allegedly slapping her cook, Shyama Devi. The FIR invoked Section 3 of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, and sections 115 (voluntarily causing hurt), 133 (assault or criminal force with intent to dishonour), 351(3) (criminal intimidation by threatening grievous hurt), and 79 (insulting the modesty of a woman) of the Bh
