Design TGSDMA a model for nation: Ponguleti tells officials

Minister for Revenue Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy has instructed officials to establish a system where the Telangana State Disaster Management Authority (TGSDMA) serves as a national benchmark.He emphasised that the state government is actively working to enhance the TGSDMA's capacity to effectively manage natural disasters and reduce the potential for loss of life and property.

In line with this initiative, the government plans to restructure the TGSDMA. The Chief Minister will serve as the Chairperson of the authority, while the Ministers for Revenue, Home, Finance, Medical and Health, Major Irrigation, Roads and Buildings, and Panchayati Raj and Rural Development will join as members.
