HALF-BACK ARTHUR SHOULD PROVE VITAL PART OF THE TEAM'S JIGSAW

- By DAN TOMLINSON

What will be Black and Whites' strongest line up for 2026 season?

Hull FC have signed up their sixth new recruit for the 2026 season, with Jake Arthur putting pen to paper on a two-year contract at the club.

The Australian halfback follows on from two more overseas signings in James Bell and Sam Lisone, with three domestic additions coming in the shape of Joe Batchelor, Harvie Hill, and Connor Bailey.

Interestingly, Hull's first five signings were all forwards, with no secrets made about the areas Hull identified first to strengthen their squad next year. But they now have the halfback they desire, with a potentially new-look side entering the field under John Cartwright once again in 2026.

Here, the Mail looks at how they could line up as it stands.

Full-Back: Will Pryce

Signed over four months ago, Pryce still has three years to run on his FC deal and is the player Cartwright sees as the long-term fullback. Underneath him, the club has two young players signed up in Logan Moy and Lloyd Kemp, who recently debuted in Super League.

Wingers: Harvey Barron and Lewis Martin
