HULL CITY COUNCIL AND PARTNERS ARE HERE TO HELP ANYONE WHO IS STRUGGLING

'The pressure of rising costs, debt and trying to make ends meet can have a real impact'

THE weeks after Christmas can feel particularly difficult, especially for those who are already under financial pressure.

The excitement of the festive season fades, bills can start to come through the door and the reality of everyday costs can come back with force. For many residents it can be a time of increased anxiety, low mood and difficult choices. Hull City Council and partners are here to help and are encouraging residents to reach out for support. Help is available for anyone who is struggling

Money issues can have a serious effect on mental and emotional wellbeing. Worrying about being able to pay the next bill, falling behind on rent or choosing between putting the heating on or filling the fridge can lead to sleepless nights, isolation and even panic attacks or depression. It can be hard to think clearly, focus on work or enjoy time with family when financial pressure is constantly in the background.

It is important to remember that help is available and those who are struggling are not to blame.
