Proposal to transform a disused windmill

PLAN AMONG APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED TO THE COUNCIL

HERE'S a run down of some of the planning applications that have recently been submitted to East Riding Council.

The applications include plans to turn a former windmill into a home.

Other applications include plans for a new home in Etton, near Beverley. The home would be built on land next to The Pub at Etton, formerly The Light Dragoon.

Keyingham Mill

Plans have been submitted to the council to convert the disused Keyingham Mill and outbuildings into a home.

The windmill is a Grade II Listed building with the site consisting of the six-storey tower and two single-storey outbuildings.

Plans confirm the tower itself will remain “exactly as it exists”.
