DANNY McGuire praised the commitment of his Castleford Tigers side after victory over Hull FC and has explained why he only used 16 players.

It wasn’t through intention, just circumstance, with a stop-start game ensuring his middles were freshened up. That ensured a rethink of his interchanges, with George Hill not getting on the field. McGuire instead opted for experience to see the game out, with his side 22-6 up before a late rally from Hull brought some respectability to the scoreline.
