HULL KR head coach Willie Peters has confirmed that Oliver Gildart is “on track” in his recovery, with a return to action pencilled in for September.

- By JOSH MCALLISTER

The 28-year-old was in fine form for the Robins before suffering a knee injury during their emphatic 54-0 Magic Weekend victory over Salford Red Devils at Newcastle's St James' Park in May.

Gildart sustained a meniscus injury that required surgery, with an expected recovery timeline of around four months.
