FC FACE HUDDERSFIELD AT THE MAGIC WEEKEND THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Key injury update on Rapana and Ese'ese

JOHN Cartwright has stated that Hull FC will give Herman Ese’ese and Jordan Rapana every chance to prove their fitness and feature against Huddersfield Giants at the Magic Weekend this Sunday afternoon.

The Black and Whites take on the Giants in Newcastle, with Ese’ese picking up a knock to his chest in last week’s game against Wigan Warriors and Rapana missing the clash with a groin injury.

However, Cartwright says both players have trained this week and will participate in Saturday’s captain’s run with the hope of them taking to the field in the northeast.

Nursing a return to health, Rapana is “likely” to play with Cartwright, “confident” that he will do. For Ese’ese, it's a pain managing exercise, with the prop taking part in light contact so far this week.
