The mounting injury list meant they were not able to contain the powerful Tynedale pack in the loose, but to their credit did manage four well-worked tries.
Hull, having caught the kickoff, had a kick charged down with Turnbull securing the rebound to romp over for a try within the first 10 seconds with Grant adding the conversion.
Hull swept upfield and a great chip through saw Harry Dawkins touch down just 60 seconds after the Tynedale try. The conversion by Harry Gunn-Mclean drifted just wide.
