HULL KR have been dealt a blow in their preparations for the new season with their star signing Tom Amone sidelined.

Brought in to replace Jared Waerea-Hargreaves as the club's main addition for the 2026 campaign, the 29-year-old former Castleford Tigers and Leigh player has damaged his hand in training.
As reported by Love Rugby League, the incident is believed to have happened at the club's warm weather camp in Tenerife and as such Amone is already underway with the recovery process.
