RONALDINHO'S SON JOAO MENDES RELISHING HULL CITY CHANCE TO IMPRESS

WINGER Joao Mendes has signed for Hull City's academy on an initial one-year deal, and he says that he's determined to grasp the opportunity in East Yorkshire.

Mendes, who is the son of former Barcelona star Ronaldinho, arrives after leaving Burnley in the summer having spent a year at the Turf Moor academy and has been named in the club's post-transfer window squad submitted to the EFL.
