CARTWRIGHT'S PRAISE AFTER HULL HAMMER RED DEVILS
JOHN Cartwright has praised the effort and the defence of his Hull FC side after yesterday's 38-6 victory over Salford Red Devils.
The Black and Whites ran out big winners over their struggling hosts, but were made to work hard for it after a plucky display from Paul Rowley's men
That spirit saw Salford claw back level after 20 minutes, with Hull struggling to pull away and the home side having the better of the chances early on.
However, they regrouped and eventually had too much about them to power their way to victory the tenth on the road in both competitions this season.
Posting seven tries, Cartwright was content with the result, albeit hungry for more.
It was a satisfying win, not perfect by any stretch, but one that keeps Hull in the mix.
