Jez Litten admits it was “mad” when he first joined Hull KR - but he now couldn't be happier signing a new four-year deal with the Super League leaders.

'Crossing over was mad in 2019, but I've found a home'

The Robins have announced their livewire England hooker has extended his stay with them until the end of 2029.

Given his consistent quality for the Challenge Cup holders this term, and clear admiration from many of their rivals who have been ‘fended off, it is a key piece of business.

Litten was already under contract until the end of 2027 after signing a four-year deal as recently as October 2023.

But head coach Willie Peters knows how valuable the dynamic No9 - emerging more and more likely to feature in the Ashes next month - is to their squad and, so, has moved to tie him down on a long-term deal.

Litten, of course, famously moved across the city from Hull FC in 2019 in order to get more game-time.
