HULL FC back row forward Jed Cartwright suffered a potentially season-ending pectoral injury less than five minutes into Friday's 16-10 defeat at St Helens.

Cartwright left the field after coming off second best in a contact.
The Australian was in his sixth game back from a hamstring injury that kept him out for over three months, with the club now set to send the player for scans to determine the severity of the injury.
