Charity gets £25k grant to help to women with breast cancer

A CHARITY that has helped hundreds of women through a breast cancer diagnosis has been awarded £25,000 that will enable it to provide even more support.
-
Hull & East Riding Breast Friends was founded in November 2005 by Jan Jones and Liz Drury who became friends during treatment for breast cancer at Castle Hill Hospital.
They recognised that, no matter how breast cancer touched people's lives, there was a need to do something positive with the experience., and so HER Breast Friends began.
