Caton-Brown makes promise to Salford's supporters

AFTER delivering the winning bid to relaunch a new Salford club, Mason Caton-Brown has promised to be open and transparent with supporters in order to restore pride within the community.

He has also insisted a full squad will be assembled in time to stage the opening fixture on January 16, against Oldham.
The RFL has given the new Salford side the green light for Championship membership in 2026, three weeks after the old club was wound up.
Former player Caton-Brown has spearheaded the successful proposal, known as The Phoenix Bid. A second consortium, involving former Salford CEO Chris Irwin, was also considered, while a third bid dropped out ahead of the final decision.
