ROBINS' COACH PETERS IS LINKED WITH NRL ROLE

WILLIE Peters has admitted he would one day like to coach in the NRL, following speculation linking him to the competition's newest franchise, the Perth Bears.

However, the Hull KR head coach remains focused on his current role, having just guided his team to a third major final in as many years.

The Australian was recently floated as a surprise candidate to lead the NRL's incoming expansion team, set to join the competition in 2027. NRL journalist David Riccio suggested Peters is well-suited to a head coaching role back in his home country.
