The second season of The Night Agent picks up right where the first season left off, continuing Peter Sutherland's (Gabriel Basso) journey into the murky depths of espionage.
Having now spent 10 months as a Night Agent, he is entangled in a high-stakes mission when his cover is blown.
The story expands beyond the political thriller elements of the first season and leans more into the realm of covert intelligence, chemical warfare, and international terrorism. It does well in maintaining its breakneck pace, ensuring that action sequences are sharp and thrilling. However, in doing so, it sacrifices a certain level of believability.
