Manifesto highlights
The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Monday released its manifesto for the assembly polls, focusing on nine key areas, including agriculture and education, and making a slew of promises such as 33% reservation for women in state government jobs.
The manifesto, titled "Adhikar Patra" (rights document), was released by ailing party supremo Shibu Soren and the move coincided with the last day of campaigning for the first of the two-phase polling to the 81-member Jharkhand assembly.
"Our manifesto promises 33% reservation to women in all state government jobs. It focuses on nine points," JMM spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya said.
