HC REDUCES THE DEATH SENTENCES OF THREE MAIN ACCUSED TO LIFE IMPRISONMENT
The Calcutta high court on Friday set aside death sentences of the three main convicts in the sensational 2013 Kamduni case, where the daylight rape and murder of a 20-year-old college student on the outskirts of Kolkata triggered a statewide uproar and comparisons to the brutal December 16 gang rape case in Delhi.
