BJP's Nominee Hurled Abuses in Parliament: AAP

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over its list of candidates for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections, accusing the BJP of fielding a leader who used abusive language in Parliament.
The AAP was referring to Ramesh Bidhuri — the former South Delhi MP that the BJP has nominated for the Kalkaji seat — who kicked off a political row after he allegedly made a communally-charged statement to then Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Danish Ali in Lok Sabha in September 2023.
However, the BJP called the AAP statements a "reflection of the party's political frustration".
The BJP on Saturday released its first list for 29 names for the Delhi polls. Hours after the names were announced, the AAP hit out at the BJP for fielding Bidhuri as well as Parvesh Sahib Singh — the AAP has accused him of "openly distributing cash" to voters.
